Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Oxford Road.

THE ROLE As Account Director, the main objective is to profitably grow overall client investment, to ensure the success of both clients and agency. The Director is responsible for the account management team’s success, consistency, and efficiency in delivering strategies and services that meet client performance goals and grow billings. The Director will be expected to lead by example in collaborating positively with other team leaders and departments to exceed client goals. These other departments include: finance, media, creative, executive, business development, and administrative.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to: Understand customer’s strategy, key decision makers, competitors and business model, including Oxford Road’s position in their business and how they quantify our value, with the goal of building interdependence with the client. Continually communicate up-to-date client strategy effectively and completely to internal teams so they can provide the best possible service to our clients. Including: media, creative, finance and analytics teams. Provide accurate and timely reports to leadership, e.g.: forecasts, opportunities, threats, market intelligence, etc Lead the development and strategic vision for Quarterly Business Reviews, leading the presentations and assigning roles to colleagues. Client-facing materials )e.g. Presentations, proposals, communications) must meet the high standards that our clients expect, that set Oxford Road apart from the competition. Devise (with Media Dept) & pitch new schedules to grow clients’ business & their media investment and deliver ongoing plan optimizations to improve performance and exceed goals Use performance insights to direct and pitch new solutions that fit the clients’ business goals. Train, mentor, manage, guide, and retain team talent in the model of Servant Leadership Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations Demonstrate an exemplary attitude of collaboration across teams: e.g. creative, media, finance, analytics, etc. Delight clients and form strong relationships founded on professional and personal excellence

Desired Skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 years in media strategy or planning Deep experience in audio and video channels, in offline media as well as online Significant experience of direct (response) marketing or performance marketing Demonstrated ability to identify appropriate media opportunities, sell plans, and grow billings Expertise with industry tools like, G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Tableau, Kantar, Strata, etc. Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills Demonstrated attitude of humility, positivity, leadership, and outstanding collaboration An understanding of the fundamentals of data, statistics & analytics Ability to proactively identify issues and solutions, as well as anticipate consequences Proven ability to delegate and manage the workloads of others successfully Experience leading a small team and mentoring junior staff Proven ability to develop excellent professional & client relationships ABOUT US At Oxford Road, whether our ads are on Podcast, Radio, Streaming, TV, or the emerging space of Smart Speakers, they are the best.
