Salford-based connectivity provider TalkTalk has appointed podcast production company Dap Dip to develop its podcasts over the next year.

Dap Dip, which is based in Manchester, and TalkTalk, which is headquartered in the Soapworks, have been developing and producing the company’s first branded podcast, Walking The Walk, since February.

Now TalkTalk has appointed Dap Dip to develop Walking The Walk further, and start producing more podcast ideas designed to highlight TalkTalk’s cutting edge approach to the telecoms industry, and the reasons why it’s a great place to work.

Walking The Walk is presented by former BBC presenter Dominic Laurie who now leads the Corporate Affairs function at TalkTalk. He said: "I’ve always had a passion for telling stories. It’s something that I’ve carried with me since being a journalist. But TalkTalk has some fantastic colleagues, from all different walks of life, and that is really what this podcast is for. It’s providing a platform for people to talk – whether it’s to celebrate a fantastic achievement in their personal life, or to raise awareness about something more serious. Every single person has a story and I’m thrilled to host this podcast to show others what an exciting, and caring, place TalkTalk is to work.”

Guy Kilty, Dap Dip’s founder and managing director, said: “From helping to define the target audience and shape the initial podcast concept, right through to editing and publishing the final episodes, it’s been really rewarding to be able to guide TalkTalk’s team through the process of creating and then developing Walking The Walk. We’re really looking forward to building on its success by helping to create more podcast series for TalkTalk.”
