We currently have an exciting role available for an Account Manager in our Melbourne Independent Agency team.
About the role:
As an Account Manager your role is to be a market-leading media sales professional, creating true business partnerships with Independent Agencies in Melbourne and delivering value for their clients, in turn maximising revenue and share opportunities for ARN via strategic use of the ARN Audiosphere.
Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Represent ARN to Independent Advertising Agencies and their advertisers in Melbourne.
- Understand the media market with a deep focus on ARN business, brand, and products – the ARN Audiosphere.
- Work with agencies and internal support teams to provide strategic advertising solutions with the objective of building, developing, and growing the relationship and revenue.
- Deliver the highest quality of presentation standards, both written and verbal.
- Generate new business opportunities with clients within allocated Independent Agencies.
- Understand when to pull in internal expertise to grow relationships and generate additional revenue for ARN.
- Attain sales budgets and provide accurate revenue forecasting - plan strategies and solutions to meet quarterly targets.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all contact with your agencies within ARN’s CRM – Salesforce.
- Work with ARN’s Revenue & Yield Management to provide competitive trading positions to clients.
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with customers and internal personnel.
- Being open and passionate to learn and grow as a media sales professional.
What you’ll have:
- Minimum of two years in media sales desirable
- Retail or customer focussed experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A ‘Can Do’ attitude
