Fireside partners with Libsyn to further support its world-class creator community

Press Release · Nashville TN, USA ·

This article is at least a year old

Storytelling platform Fireside announced a revolutionary partnership with leading podcast hosting network Libsyn. Fireside co-founders Falon Fatemi and Mark Cuban dropped news of the partnership earlier this morning during their keynote speech at the 2021 Podcast Movement Conference. This is one of many major future announcements teased by Cuban and Falon to come in the next several months as the Fireside platform is more publicly unveiled.

The partnership between Libsyn and Fireside will give Fireside creators more flexibility and ownership of their content across distribution platforms, allowing them to reach their audiences wherever they are by distributing shows as a podcast with one tap. Libsyn, considered the world’s leading podcast hosting network, has been defining the space since 2004. This partnership is a natural fit as Fireside seeks to give creators new technology, tools and analytics to drive deeper engagement with their audience.

Falon Fatemi, Fireside CEO and Co-founder, described the nature of the partnership as completely sympatico. “Both of our companies believe in the power of individual voices and that the next media empires to emerge will be individual creators with deeply loyal and engaged audiences. Libsyn has been doing this for a lot longer than us and really understands what it takes to support creators and podcasters in this constantly evolving digital universe.”

Laurie Sims, Libsyn President and COO, added, “We are thrilled to partner with Fireside to leverage Libsyn’s industry leading podcast hosting platform to maximize the audience distribution of this one-of-a-kind interactive storytelling platform through podcasting. We are working to make the podcast distribution experience seamless for the Fireside creator - with the push of a button.”

Fireside is a platform that fosters thought-provoking and entertaining discussions through high quality virtual shows. The platform allows creators to maintain ownership of their audience and full creative control over their content. The partnership with Libsyn serves as yet another element of Fireside’s mission to put its creators first.

Fireside is available on all iOS devices with plans for Android in the near future.
