Account Manager
A full time position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Pod People.
Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience
Pod People is looking for a thoughtful and experienced Account Manager to help oversee the day-to-day client management of our Production and Matchmaking projects. If you love supporting complex projects, are a master of diplomacy, and have a knack for building long term customer engagement, we want you on our team. We’re searching for a highly organized self-starter who has a deep love for audio storytelling, and a burning desire to grow into an experienced salesperson.
In this role you’ll work closely with our Head of Business Development to facilitate client and cross-department communication on all our projects. In a typical week, you’ll join all sales calls, schedule meetings, create proposals and client agreements, liaise between several internal departments, and keep all internal resources up-to-date.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of account management experience
- Self-starter who loves solving problems proactively and creatively
- Excellent client management skills; both in diplomatically managing expectations and keeping everyone happy
- Great organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Exceptional time management skills displaying the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Acutely analytical with a problem solving, think-on-your-feet attitude
- A commitment to high standards, excellence, collaboration and our clients
- Experience working with CRM platforms (Airtable and Hubspot fluency is a plus)
- Experience working with a sales team in a client-facing role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day business-related client communications across multiple podcast productions and Matchmaking (staffing) clients
- Support the accounts for all active Matchmaking and Production projects. This includes creating client intake forms, reviewing contracts, uploading client information into Airtable, organizing client folders accordingly, etc.
- Oversee the proper tracking and management of the Sales pipeline in Hubspot and client admin in Airtable
- Field and reply to all inbound Sales requests
- Craft and send company overviews and proposals to potential clients
- Draft and send final contracts for Matchmaking and Production clients
- Liaise between Matchmaking contractors, Pod People Operations team, and respective clients to ensure proper onboarding flow
- Send Production Pipeline weekly email to the larger team
- Coordinate and schedule Sales calls and Production Kick Off Calls
- Create intake forms and handoff docs, once a project is sold through, for both the Production and Matchmaking teams
- Lead Sales calls with prospective clients
Compensation and Benefits This is a fully remote, full-time role with a salary range of $60 - $70K per year (commensurate with experience level and cost of living).
