Acast, the world’s leading independent podcast company, today announces extension of its relationship with hugely popular Irish podcast The David McWilliams Podcast.

One of Ireland’s most popular broadcasters and opinion makers, David is rated the fifth most influential economist in the world. Since 2019, he has hosted The David McWilliams Podcast. The show will continue as part of the Acast Creator Network, with Acast hosting, distributing, monetizing and expanding the show globally.

The David McWilliams Podcast is a weekly explanation and check-in on global economic, financial and political news. The aim of the show has been to simplify economics, and distil the fast paced financial world into clear, understandable topics that all can understand and learn from.
