Education Manager
A project or contract position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at The Podcast Academy.
JOB SUMMARY The Podcast Academy seeks an Education Manager to oversee the strategy and daily operations of three programs: Internship (Winter and Fall 3-month sessions), Mentorship Work Groups (Fall and Spring 4-month sessions), Education/Networking (2-4 webinars and virtual networking events/month). This is a Remote, PT, contract position.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Create and document strategies for internship, mentorship, and educational/networking programs.
- Plan and execute virtual events, often in partnership with other organizations and sponsors.
- Work to recruit interns and companies to match.
- Refine mentorship program, including project documentation and feedback surveys.
- Match mentors and mentees based on survey responses.
- Measure and document program effectiveness/success; implement ongoing changes in response.
- Ensure the way that TPA markets, recruits, and administers programs is a smooth process with a high level of customer service.
- Work with the Executive Director and Board of Governors to drive program adoption.
- Participate in TPA Slack Channels.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience in planning and executing educational programming.
- Excellent oral and written communications using various software and methods such as Email, Zoom, Slack.
- Non-profit and/or podcast background preferred.
- Demonstrated success in B to B partnership building.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
- Has a strong ability to multitask, shift priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience identifying and raising funds via corporate sponsorships and other sources, a plus.
