Advertising Operations/Traffic Associate
A full time Sales Representative position at PRX, Boston MA, USA
Salary range: $50,000 to $55,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience

We are currently seeking an Advertising Operations Associate to join our dynamic Ad Ops team.
The Advertising Operations Associate’s primary responsibility is to ensure technical execution and management of sponsor campaigns and inventory for an assigned portfolio of podcast and broadcast shows. This associate collaborates closely with external partners and internal colleagues in sponsorship sales, production, marketing, and technology; and must maintain outstanding relationships with each of those groups.

- Meet goal of 95% of campaigns delivered as expected
- Achieve maximization of inventory opportunity on portfolio of shows to drive revenue
- Ensure sponsorship messages are delivered and integrated to provide strong results for sponsors and great experience for listeners
Responsibilities
- Implement campaigns accurately and timely through scheduling, delivery, performance, and reporting
- Manage inventory to maximize potential revenue, maintain episode schedules, and prioritize campaigns accordingly for assigned portfolio of shows
- Provide hands-on account management to producers in assigned portfolio
- Partner with other advertising operations associates and PRX technical team to troubleshoot issues and continue the advancement of tools, processes, and third-party initiatives
- Manage and uphold outstanding client relations with internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Knowledge
- Has strong communication, relationship-building, and diplomatic skills to work with many different types of local and remote internal and external teams
- Has an understanding of sales, marketing, and technical processes for cross-functional tasks
- Has a penchant for problem-solving
- Is detail-oriented and organized
- Is comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing varying tasks, while staying calm under pressure
- Is analytical and familiar with key podcast and broadcast metrics
- Is technologically savvy and flexible/adaptable, with willingness to learn new tools and platforms quickly
Education & Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in advertising operations, advertising account management, and/or comparable field, with a concentration in podcast and/or broadcast a major plus
- Experience in executing digital advertising campaigns, using advertising management software, and/or experience with project management
- Experience with Google Product Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with or ability and ambition to learn advanced spreadsheet functions, such as formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with and knowledge of third party tracking ecosystem a plus
- Knowledge of HTML, JSON, and/or other basic coding language a plus
